I LOVE CHOPPER SO MUCH OH MY FUCKING GOD HES MY FAVE MUGIWARA PIRATE!!! alot of people say that hes nothing but merch bait and doesnt really serve a purpose in the crew besides be adorable but THAT IS NOT TRUE!!! chopper is ALWAYS there no matter WHAT and hes one of the most dependable people on the crew no doubt about it!! he was introduced as someone who hated humans and resented them but grew fond of them when luffy invited him to the crew!! he grew exponentially and hes still growing to this day!! everyone in the straw hat crew is unique in their own way, but chopper stands out by /looking/ like nothing but cute pet bait, but being one of the most well written and funniest people in the show!! i love chopper hes the #best

another thing i have to note is that a lot of people baby chopper. because of his normal, chibi appearance people like to call him this pure and innocent baby thats done nothing wrong, and to that i resent. i know this whole site just looks like something that would cater to a baby and i apologize for going a bit overboard but come on, hes like 17!! but that doesnt matter to the fanbase, because 'he looks like a baby, so we'll treat him like one'! which is fucking weird. its either constant babying of chopper or constant hate on chopper for being nothing but merch bait. hes his own character in his own special way and people turn a blind eye and water him down to things that arent even true!! let him thrive. stop treating him like he belongs on a red, silky cushion ontop of your lap as youre petting him gently!!!!
